Pulmonary Rehabilitation is appropriate
for those diagnosed with COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease,
pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer or other lung disorders; also those who
are de-conditioned following a hospitalization or exacerbation of
their lung disease. Pulmonary Rehabilitation is offered at our Moline and East Davenport
facilities. FREE Pulmonary Screenings are provided by appointment.
The main goals of Pulmonary Rehabilitation are:
- To educate the participant about their disease process and
how to manage their disease more effectively
- To increase endurance and physical conditioning through exercise
- To decrease disease exacerbations and hospital
stays
Physical and Occupational Therapy is
indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic conditions which
may be the
result of illness, injury or surgical intervention. Our physical
therapy specialists treat orthopedic, neurological, and vascular
conditions. Our occupational therapists specialize in upper extremity
dysfunction.
